Cedar Shakes and Shingles

For sheer beauty and charm, it’s hard to beat the look of cedar shingles or shakes. Timberline uses only the best, #1-rated Blue Label treated or untreated cedar products, and you can choose from heavy or medium thicknesses or tapersawn (beveled on the edges) varieties. We have experience with installation to ensure the appropriate air circulation required by wooden roofs. A cedar shake or cedar shingle roof provides excellent protection, resists severe weather, enhances value, and can last from 25 to 50 years with minimal maintenance.

Some areas, however, have building codes that restrict the use of wooden roofs, requiring the use of fireproof materials. Timberline always consults local codes prior to beginning any project.
